Why do I have to pay a security deposit when renting?
As in any rental operation, a good is taken as guarantee. When hiring some of our more expensive products, we take a sum of money as a “Security Deposit”. Such amount will be returned to you in full if the rented equipment is returned clean and in good working conditions.
What does the security deposit cover when renting?
At the time of receiving the equipment we evaluate time of return, breakages, losses, etc. We discount the amount taken in guarantee the cost of replacement of accessories, arrangements and delays. In no case should this amount be deemed to extinguish the customer’s liability for the total cancellation of the replacement value of a product, if this is greater than what is deposited as a guarantee.
How do I get my security deposit when I rent?
Security deposits can be taken in cash or by credit/debit card. Once the rental is finished, when the rented items are returned in due time and form, the security deposit is refunded in the same way it was taken.
